Job Title: Finished Goods Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finished Goods Associate to join our warehouse team at Whelen Engineering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing deliveries, storing and retrieving inventory, and ensuring that all finished goods are properly labeled and documented.


Responsibilities
  1. Receives and processes delivery and storage of all parts from received from divisional receipts, vendor receipts, subcontractor receipts, and small package receipts.
  2. Maintains proper storage of parts.
  3. Uses RF Scanner device (barcode reader) to pull products from warehouse.
  4. Transports kits to the assembly area as directed.
  5. Maintains kit holding area.
  6. Works with scales, calculators, and other devices to make sure production counts are accurate.
  7. Operates WAVE and JLG lifts, electrical jacks, and other equipment used to move product.

Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Position will require sitting, walking, or standing for at least 40 hours per week.
  • Regularly performs repetitive tasks.
  • Able to stand for entire shift.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
