Renal Transplant Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Renal Transplant Consultant to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering the clinical service, participating in clinical work, and contributing to the development of the renal surgical services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the management and administration of the clinical service
- Take an active part in clinical work, including in-patient care, out-patient clinics, and theatre sessions
- Contribute to the development of the renal surgical services
- Take an active part in teaching and training activities for junior doctors and medical students
- Participate in clinical governance activities within the department and the trust
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council or eligibility to register
- Currently on the Specialist Register for General Surgery or eligible for inclusion within 6 months of the interview date
- Higher professional qualification (e.g. MRCS)
