Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Commercial Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a field sales strategy that drives revenue growth and nurtures customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Craft Area Plan: Create a tailored area plan that aligns with Reach plc's commercial strategy, taking into account the unique nuances of the territory.
  • Lead Sales Team: Lead with passion and precision, demonstrating exemplary leadership and people management skills to empower the sales team.
  • Drive Revenue Forecasting: Maintain a focus on revenue forecasting and weekly reporting, while striving to boost client retention and enhance acquisition value.
  • Utilise Sales Systems: Leverage cutting-edge sales systems and support tools like Salesforce, Buzzboard, and LinkedIn to maintain a disciplined sales approach.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise analytical prowess to make data-driven decisions that enhance customer interactions and drive success.
  • Deliver Reach Field Strategy: Consistently deliver Reach Field strategy across the team, ensuring the seamless adoption of standard KPIs and methodologies.
  • Transform Market Insights: Transform market insights into innovative product requirements, gathering valuable data to refine Reach plc's strategic direction.
  • Forecast Trends: Harness past campaign data to forecast trends, developing actionable insights that propel future campaigns to new heights.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management: Collaborate with Senior Management to unlock maximum revenue opportunities, ensuring consistency in the approach and accountability in applying people policies and procedures.
  • Partner with HR: Partner with HR to attract, cultivate, and retain top talent, using employee engagement feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Commercial Thinking: Highly numerate and an excellent commercial thinker, able to identify and maximise revenue opportunities and report performance accurately.
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrable leadership qualities, capable of motivating and managing teams and individuals and taking responsibility for own and others' development, striving to create a high-performance culture.
  • Digital Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of digital, national, and regional media and the Reach portfolio.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate market feedback into product requirements and possess excellent communication, including written, face-to-face, and presentation skills.
  • Experience: Experience of driving and delivering high revenue via a field sales operation, sales and business development, and utilising various ad serving technology, reporting tools, and trading platforms.
