At Royal Mail, we're looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Preston Workshop. As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, including traditional fuel and electric vehicles, LCVs, and HGVs.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment. You'll use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light / heavy goods vehicles.

With a salary of £38,114 per annum, plus shift allowance of £84.06 per week when working the 13:00 - 21:30 shift, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career as a Light and Heavy Vehicle Specialist. The Night shift attracts a weekly shift allowance of £126.06, and you may be eligible for a welcome bonus of £1,500.*
