Residential Children's Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Services team at The Cambian Group. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people to achieve their full potential and lead by example to other support workers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our young people.
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home and the delivery of high-quality care.
- Provide supervision and guidance to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care and support to our young people.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager as required.
- Experience of working in a residential children's setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Full UK driving license, as the role requires travel to various locations.
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.40 - £14.22.
- A £30 sleep-in rate (2-3 sleep-ins per week).
