About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Child and Educational Psychologist to join our team at Cheshire West and Chester. As a key member of our service, you will work closely with schools, colleges, and early years settings to provide an applied psychology service that promotes inclusion and maximizes the achievement of young people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing strategies and techniques grounded in psychological and educational theory to promote inclusion and maximize achievement
  • Contributing to multi-agency partnerships to ensure effective working for children, young people, and their families
  • Supporting schools and early years settings in meeting SEND legislation and related Council policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the effectiveness of the Council in implementing local and national strategies, policies, and practices
