Job Title: Community Support Volunteer

Becoming a Community Support Volunteer at Brainkind Neurological Centre York is an opportunity to contribute positively to the lives of others.

This role involves:

  • Supporting the activities team with various tasks
  • Working alongside Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams
  • Engaging individuals in different activities such as arts and crafts, music, or other creative pursuits
  • Socialising with residents and promoting a sense of community
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
  • Helping individuals access local resources and activities

We require volunteers to commit 3-6 hours per week, although flexibility is available to suit individual needs.

About the Salary:

The estimated hourly salary for this position is £8-10 per hour, depending on location and experience.
