About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Real Estate Investment business based in the heart of London. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal advice across the business, serving as the primary point of contact within the UK.

The Business

The business manages an extensive portfolio of its own and client real estate investments in the UK and Europe. They are seeking a high-calibre senior legal counsel to join their existing team, which has experience in investment analysis, real estate finance, asset management, finance, and banking backgrounds.

The Role

You will review all legal documentation, identifying and mitigating potential legal risks, handling any property-related disputes that arise, and drafting standard in-house documents. You will also coordinate all commercial real estate transactions with external lawyers, staying abreast of property legislation to offer proactive and strategic advice to shareholders, helping to mitigate risks.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of post-qualification experience with experience in commercial property, real estate finance, and real estate investment
  • In-house experience is required, a secondment or two will suffice
