At Very Important Personnel (VIP), we are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Employment Law and experience as an advocate in final hearings in court.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with clients on Tribunal Claims, including negotiating with ACAS, drafting ET3 responses, disclosure, bundle preparation, and drafting witness statements.
  • Day-to-Day Case Management, updating clients, and ensuring they are given all commercial options available.
  • Advocating at final tribunal hearings.
  • Ensuring all HR documentation used by our team of HR consultants is up-to-date and legislatively compliant.
  • Assisting with internal and external training on all aspects of HR and tribunals.
  • Providing onsite support for Disciplinary, Grievance, and consultation meetings.
  • Assisting the internal marketing team with drafting press releases regarding new legislation and its impact on business.

Requirements include:

  • Qualification in law (LLB, CILEX) with a specialism in Employment Law.
  • Experience acting as an advocate at final hearing.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
