Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to support production continuity by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks with an electrical bias.

The successful candidate will have a strong sense of ownership for their work and take pride in what they do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all employees adhere to Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Assist with real-time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Manage TPM records and drive continuous improvement to processes and working practices.
  • Minimize downtime by adhering to TPM activity and managing work requisitions through the CMMS.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to source required parts and materials.
  • Fault find on a range of industrial equipment, including CNC machines and electrical systems.
  • Read electrical schematic drawings and install electrical systems in an industrial environment.
  • Test electrical installation work and maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained City & Guilds or equivalent, or time-served experience with industry experience.
  • Leadership skills (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organization abilities and computer skills preferred.

This position may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware, where an export license would be required for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Employment will be subject to satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and if required, completion of a non-disclosure agreement.
