Senior Electrical Engineer Role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team from our Cambridge office on a full-time, permanent basis.


Position Overview
  • Support the development of initial engineering concepts through to the delivery of detailed designs and specifications.
  • Undertake site surveys and investigations, seeing your designs become a reality.
  • Contribute to designing engineering solutions and systems within the built environment, preparing plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Inspect installations reviewing progress, quality, and performance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience at a multi-disciplinary, building services or engineering consultancy.
  • Familiarity with software packages including AutoCAD and/or Amtech, BIM, Relux, Dialux, IES.
  • Professional qualifications such as a degree/HND in BSc/BEng(Hons) in Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or similar.
  • Working towards or a Member/Associate of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
  • A clear understanding of electrical building services design, installation, testing, and commissioning within the built environment.
  • Project Leading/Client Facing experience would be advantageous.
Remuneration Package
  • Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (Guide only - DOE).
