Job Overview

ZipRecruiter is seeking an exceptional Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead major construction projects across North London. As a Site Agent/Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success, strategizing and executing project plans, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of civil and water infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop robust project plans, implement risk management strategies, and optimize resources to maximize project value.
  3. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the public, representing the company with professionalism and confidence.
  4. Reporting and Communication: Ensure timely and accurate reporting, chair key meetings, and keep all parties informed of progress and performance.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in civil engineering and site management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of contract management, CDM regulations, and cost control, coupled with the ability to spot opportunities for value engineering.
  3. Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), alongside essential certifications like CSCS, SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, and Confined Space Training.
  4. Specific expertise in large-scale utility works, trunk water mains, shafts, and tunnels.
