You will work closely with senior lawyers and key clients, drafting and managing transactions across a wide range of DCM matters. From acting for book-runners and investors to advising on regulatory compliance and market practice, this role offers significant client exposure and a platform to develop your skills and grow your career. As part of the team, you'll advise prominent bank clients such as Barclays, HSBC, NatWest Markets, and Santander, as well as institutional investors. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the firm's top-tier sector teams in areas like housing finance, local authorities, and healthcare, providing expert legal advice on innovative and impactful projects. Key responsibilities include acting for book-runners, investors, trustees, and issuers on public bond issuances and privately placed DCM transactions. You will also draft and review transaction documentation, manage transactions, and provide timely and high-quality advice to clients. To succeed in this role, you will need 2–6 years of PQE with experience in Debt Capital Markets transactions. Expertise in drafting documentation for bookrunners and investors, managing public issuances, and liaising with regulatory authorities is essential. A solid understanding of applicable regulatory and securities laws, as well as current market practices, is also required. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the confidence to build lasting client relationships, is also necessary. The salary for this position is estimated at £120,000-£180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
