Job Title

Debt Capital Markets Specialist

Role Description:

This role provides an opportunity to work alongside senior lawyers on drafting and managing transactions across a range of matters in debt capital markets.

About the Team:

Our debt capital markets practice sits within our banking team, which has a strong presence in the City and is a market-leading team across the rest of the UK.

We advise a range of bank clients, including Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, NatWest Markets, and Santander, as well as majority of UK institutional investors in privately placed transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on various debt capital markets matters, including acting for bookrunners, investors, trustees, and issuers in public listed and privately placed transactions.
  • Liaising with the FCA and LSE in debt listing, and knowledge of applicable regulatory and securities laws and market practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience in drafting documentation for bookrunners and investors, transaction management of public issuances.
  • The ability to be inquisitive and understand our clients, their drivers, and what matters to them, so that your advice has quality, imagination, and impact.

Estimated Salary: £72,500 per annum.
