Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Buckinghamshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing one-to-one assistance and small group interventions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN in the classroom
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to assess and address students' needs
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN
