Our client is a leading clinical trials organization dedicated to delivering innovative research and treatments.

We are looking for a highly skilled Development Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development, optimization, and validation of scientific methods.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and extensive experience developing and validating assays in an industry setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and validating a range of assays to support ongoing clinical research projects
  • Supporting sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and stakeholders to provide updates
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation including study plans and completed reports
  • Assisting in writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives

This is a lab-based role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline, preferably in Virology, Immunology, or Microbiology
  • Extensive experience developing and validating assays in an industry setting
  • In-depth knowledge of virology techniques, including infectivity assays
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment
