We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Therapy Support Worker. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a multidisciplinary team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
Job Overview:As a key member of our team, you will work on ward 22, a short stay rehab unit at Leicester General Hospital, alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, carrying out treatment programmes for medical patients with a variety of conditions.
Key Duties:- Contribute to the provision of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services within a specified clinical area.
- Liaise with other professionals for the benefit of the patient.
- Work to Therapy and UHL Service priorities.
- GCSE English/Maths - or equivalent
- Experience working within a team
- Experience in a healthcare setting/previous therapy support worker role
- Understanding of the role of OT/PT in an acute setting
