Job Title: Data Governance Operations Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Operations Analyst to join our team at myGwork. As a key member of the Data Governance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's data governance initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to help innovate, shape and evolve our Data Governance strategy, whilst protecting our Travellers, Partners and our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive the implementation of data governance policies and procedures, monitoring compliance and reporting on adherence.
  2. Work with data/data system owners to perform regular data quality/risk assessments, identifying areas of risk & data discrepancies / inconsistencies & working with the owners to resolve.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data governance awareness and best practices throughout the organisation.
  4. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data governance processes, standards, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, organise, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate the value of data governance activities to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work easily with abstract concepts like data and metadata.
  • Ability to analyse complex situations, distil concepts and present to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge & some proficiency of data management tools, databases, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
  • Ability to interface with staff from diverse backgrounds across the company.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
