Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at Hobbs South East. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention to clients with complex health, social, and psychological needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients across a range of care settings, including community and hospital. They will also have a strong understanding of lifespan developmental psychology, models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide complex psychological assessment and therapy to clients with neurological conditions, including mild traumatic brain injury.
  • To work autonomously within professional guidelines, consulting appropriately with peers and receiving clinical supervision as per British Psychological Society and HCPC guidelines.
  • To contribute to developing, delivering, and evaluating formal and informal teaching and training given to healthcare staff in psychological skills to enhance the efficiency and dissemination of psychological knowledge and practice.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Registered as an Applied Psychology Practitioner member of the HCPC.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of adult client groups presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £63,000 to £67,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive benefits, including regular clinical and professional supervision.
