Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to progress their career in a dynamic and supportive company.

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, verifying supplier invoices, and managing weekly and monthly payrolls. You will also assist with the preparation of management accounts and KPI reports, and collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase invoices in accordance with the company's approval procedures.
  • Verify supplier invoices against inbound inventory.
  • Manage weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts and KPI reports.

Requirements
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideal candidate has AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years in an accounts assistant role preferred.
  • PAYROLL EXPERIENCE.
