Junior Office Assistant Role

The Junior Office Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the business on day-to-day tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This candidate will also provide assistance to the Receptionist, who is the first point of contact for external and internal clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting all teams and schemes within the business
  • Assisting the receptionist with tasks and ensuring a professional image is maintained at all times
  • Providing support to managers and Directors as needed
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies and stationery
  • Liaising with external contractors to maintain office equipment
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

The Junior Office Assistant will also assist with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Answering phone calls when the receptionist is absent
  • Providing support across all teams in the event of absences
  • Assisting with recording notifications of treatment from Clubs
  • Completing debtors' reports
  • Opening and identifying post for appropriate teams
  • Indexing and scanning post onto our in-house filing database
  • Returning invoices to providers/Clubs when necessary
  • Working on ad-hoc tasks as requested

Key Requirements:

  • 1+ years' practice or industry experience, or a school leaver with the appropriate qualifications
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with contentious issues
  • Knowledge of data protection/GDPR rules and workplace practices
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Willingness to support all areas of the business as needed
  • Team player attitude
