We are seeking an experienced Specialist Child and Family Support Professional to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a Specialist Child and Family Support Professional, you will work closely with disabled children and their families, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a caseload of children and families, providing emotional support and guidance to help them overcome challenges.
  • You will work in partnership with education and health professionals to deliver tailored support services that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Delivering Family Help services, you will support social work professionals by providing expert advice and guidance on how to best support vulnerable families.
  • You will listen attentively to families, recording their needs and identifying ways in which local resources can be used to support improvements to their situations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working directly with disabled children and their families is essential for this role.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this position.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is also mandatory for this role.
