Job Title: Mechanical Procurement Specialist

At DCT Recruitment Careers, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Procurement Specialist to join our client's team based in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

Key Responsibilities:

* End-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management
* Identify and implement measures to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
* Analyze supplier and subcontractor offers and select the most appropriate purchasing goal
* Negotiate with suppliers, coordinate local contracts with the Project Manager, and obtain approval from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments
* Develop new material alternatives and assess their usability in the project with the Technical Office Department
* Deliver materials needed by the construction site on time, ensuring quality approval
* Coordinate and execute logistics and imports processes with the Head Office Procurement Department
* Continuously track the supply market, staying up-to-date with developments, trends, risks, and opportunities
* Engage with existing and potential suppliers, anticipating external market factors
* Monitor warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer)
* Prepare procurement reports and presentations

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Procurement
