About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our Adult Disability Service team in Lancaster and Morecambe. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as household chores, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities, promoting social inclusion and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins.
