At Home Instead, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, and bathing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as cooking, light housework, and accompanying clients on outings.
- Help clients access their community by accompanying them on drives, walks, shopping trips, or appointments.
- Competitive pay rates, with a minimum of £11.50 per hour for Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) and £12.80 for evenings and weekends.
- Consistent client interaction, with a minimum of 1-hour calls and client matching to ensure continuity in care.
- Part-time or full-time positions, including every other weekend off.
- Additional financial benefits, including mileage compensation, travel/waiting time, and a paid day off on your birthday.
- Comprehensive training, including induction, Alzheimer's, Dementia care, and Parkinson's training certified by City and Guilds.

- A UK driving license and a car are essential for this role.
- No prior experience in care is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to provide quality care.
