Veterinary Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our successful Okehampton practice.

Working within this idyllic practice located on the edge of Dartmoor you will work alongside 9 vets, 5 qualified veterinary nurses, 3 Patient Care Assistants and 4 other Receptionists. The practice is RCVS Accredited and is a dedicated companion animal veterinary clinic with modern facilities.

The main duties will involve telephone answering, booking appointments and processing prescription requests, dealing with clients visiting the practice and taking payments and helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within all areas of the practice

We are looking for someone to join the team to work 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, on a variable rota between 8am + 6pm (1 hour lunch) and1:5 Saturdays (8.30-5 with 1 hour lunch). We are able to consider part time hours which fit within our requirements

You may also be required to work at our Chagford branch surgery so should have access to your own transport.
