Armstrong Knight is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join their team in Canvey Island. This is an exciting opportunity for a Semi-Senior / Newly Qualified Accountant to take on a challenging role and advance their career.

The ideal candidate will be either newly qualified, or studying towards ACCA/ACA. As Accounting Specialist, you will benefit from a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum and fantastic benefits package, along with the opportunity to progress within your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts from incomplete records
  • Preparation and filing of corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients regarding any queries and in respect of accounting and audit matters
  • Managing client relationships

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be AAT Qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role within practice
  • CCH experience
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a number of different assignments at any one time
