About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at RGB Network. As a key member of our Civil Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality highway and drainage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver highway and drainage projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual optioneering, and detailed design.
  • Conduct due diligence and technical approvals, including RCC and S56.
  • Produce technical reports and secure statutory approvals with Scottish Water and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
  • Design and implement highway drainage systems, surface water, and foul drainage systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry-standard road and drainage design software and current design standards.
Requirements
  • Expertise in industry-standard road and drainage design software.
  • Familiarity with current design standards and the 'Design Manual for Roads and Bridges' (DMRB).
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microdrainage is beneficial.
  • Strong technical and management skills, with a focus on road design per the 'National Road Development Guide' and local authority standards.
