Bilingual Professional Wanted for Flexible Interpreting Role

Language Empire, a leading provider of professional interpreting and translation services in the UK, is currently seeking a skilled bilingual professional to join our team as a freelance interpreter.
The role offers flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while being your own boss.
We are recruiting for Face-to-Face, Telephone, Video Interpreters, and Translators who can provide high-quality interpreting services to individuals using legal, health, and local government services across the UK.
About the Job
This exciting opportunity involves listening to, understanding, and reproducing content in the source language with 100% accuracy. As an interpreter, you will:
- Interpret for non-English speakers in various settings, ensuring effective communication between service users and providers
- Check the individual's understanding after each sentence to ensure seamless communication
- Provide consecutive and public service interpreting, including conference interpretation
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Liaise between service users and providers to facilitate smooth interactions
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be:
- Able to speak English fluently and have a strong command of another language
- A citizen of the UK or hold the right to work in the country
- At least 21 years old
- Possess relevant formal qualifications, such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
