London, Greater London, United Kingdom Ealing Council Full time

Ealing Council is committed to delivering exceptional care and support services to our communities. We are seeking newly qualified social workers who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

Our Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme offers a unique opportunity for you to develop your skills and expertise in adult social care. You will work alongside highly committed teams in a stimulating environment, where you will have the chance to grow and achieve your potential.

We provide high-quality supervision and support, including a protected caseload, to ensure your success during the ASYE programme. Additionally, you will have access to a range of in-house training and development opportunities, including our established and highly valued ASYE programme.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong command of spoken English and meet the requirements outlined in Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. As a customer-facing position, effective communication is essential.

Ealing Council prioritizes safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. We adhere to safer recruitment practices to protect those who need our care and support.

All roles within the council are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and our enhanced vetting process. This ensures that only suitable candidates join our team.

In recognition of the academic course completion timeline, we offer an interim position of adult support worker until you can transfer to the NQSW post. Adult support workers receive a salary of £35,577.00 per annum, grade 7.

This role requires a professional who shares our values and is dedicated to providing outstanding care and support services. If you are passionate about working with vulnerable individuals and want to make a meaningful difference, we encourage you to apply.
