This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and creative team in a culturally diverse area.

We are looking for a Youth Support Worker who:

  • can build effective relationships with young people involved in or on the periphery of the Criminal Justice System and support them to improve their life chances
  • can engage with young people in various settings, including schools and local youth clubs, and support them to move forward positively
  • can assess the needs of young people and plan innovative interventions to support them
  • can work in partnership with agencies such as education, police, social care, and health to support young people
  • can represent the Integrated Youth Service competently and confidently in various contexts

Ealing Council is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The post holder will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Ealing's enhanced vetting process.

This role is customer-facing and requires a command of spoken English that is sufficient to enable effective performance.

We currently have one fixed-term position available. External applicants will be offered a fixed-term contract, and existing Ealing Council employees will have the opportunity to be seconded.
