Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal Specialist

Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel. This includes undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculoskeletal/sports and training injury area.
You will also provide a positive caring environment, in which patients can expect a high-quality professional service.

Key Responsibilities- Perform highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessment of patients referred by Consultants, General Practitioners, and other Healthcare Professionals or self-referred, with diverse presentations and complex and acute/chronic physical conditions and sports injuries.
- Formulate, develop and deliver a specialised individualised treatment programme based upon evidence-based practice, manual assessment, and appropriate clinical reasoning.
- Advise the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) and Officer in Command (OC) Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility (PCRF) regarding specialist physiotherapy recommendations.
- Manage and prioritise own clinical caseload efficiently and effectively.

All employees joining Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period (unless otherwise advised) effective from the employment start date.
Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed.
