Regulatory Project Manager - Crop Protection

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a global consultancy with a strong track record of advising clients in the chemical sector, with a focus on agrochemicals, biocides, and REACH. We are seeking an experienced Plant Protection Regulatory Affairs professional to join our team as a Project Manager in the UK.

Role Responsibilities

The Regulatory Affairs Project Manager will work closely with clients to develop robust regulatory strategies to ensure project success. He/she will manage all aspects of the regulatory process for active substances and formulations, including authority meetings and product advocacy. Working closely with technical experts, he/she will conduct thorough regulatory reviews to ensure the highest quality.

  1. Actively involved with the preparation of dossiers and coordinate projects, including setting up of projects, client liaison, and on-time delivery of work to clients and meeting regulatory deadlines.
  2. Define actions and identify and utilize resources to achieve project tasks or objectives; ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, that deliverables meet quality standards, and that goals are aligned to desired project results.
  3. Understand client's desired outcomes and work collaboratively to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  4. Working with the wider crop protection team of experts to ensure client and regulatory deadlines are met.
  5. Contribute to the commercial growth of the business through actively participating in the wider business development activities such as client visits, conferences, and expert groups relevant to the expert area.
Skill & Experience Requirement


Educated to degree level within chemical or other related disciplines such as biology, biochemistry, or microbiology.


Strong working knowledge of EU PPP regulations, including previous contact with national or EU regulatory bodies.


IUCLID experience and knowledge of regulatory agency portals would be advantageous.


Industrial experience in the agrochemical industry would be beneficial.


Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work that exceeds clients' expectations.


Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to work well with others and passion to help others develop.
