Building and Facilities Manager

Location: Aylesbury, HP21 area
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of facilities staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize facility needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of facilities and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Proven leadership experience in a facilities management role, with a track record of success in team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for communication, management, and data analysis.
- Customer-focused mindset, with prior experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Leadership skills, resilience, and HR experience with people management are highly desirable.
