Industrial Lift Truck Specialist

We are currently seeking an Industrial Lift Truck Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our customers' industrial lift trucks.

You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all work complies with engineering standards and Briggs/manufacturer specifications/tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have relevant technical qualifications and a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert maintenance and repair services for industrial lift trucks.
  • Working closely with the engineering team to ensure that all work complies with engineering standards and Briggs/manufacturer specifications/tolerances.
  • Carrying out inspections/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing it back to the customer.
  • Identifying any further work required on a machine and ensuring the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred.
  • Completing all related job and service documentation correctly, with necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.
  • Raising at least 1 estimate for every 4 services.
  • Ensuring patched trucks are PM compliant.

What You Can Expect:

  • A base salary of up to £36,000 per annum based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday.
