About the Role
To oversee and assure management of design and construction activities for allocated projects, implementing Network Rail systems and procedures to maintain a cost-effective, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible approach. This includes managing all engineering activities to result in schemes that are affordable and meet programme requirements in a safe and environmentally responsible manner for time, cost, and quality.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
  1. Implementing Network Rail systems and procedures to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible approaches to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities.
  2. Managing engineering activities to deliver schemes that meet programme requirements, are affordable, and safe, while also considering environmental aspects.
  3. Monitoring design and specialist consultants and contractors to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
  4. Providing project management advice on construction activities, including testing and commissioning, and site supervision.
