Heavy Equipment Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Human Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients' heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
  • Accurately record service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.
  • Certifications or tickets related to site machinery maintenance (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
  • Driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
