Electrical Infrastructure Manager

Derbyshire

c£50k - £62k neg dep exp + benefits

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced and professional Electrical Infrastructure Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical infrastructure projects from tender stages to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Stages:
    • Coordinating and attending site surveys at both tender and project delivery stages
    • Assisting in evaluating electrical supplier proposals and in generating proposals for electrical requirements
  • Project Delivery for Electrical Works:
    • Producing technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and carrying out evaluations
    • Attending design meetings (along with design sub-contractor as required)
    • Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, execution and completion of the electrical sub-contract works. Manage suppliers progress and performance, ensuring alignment with project plans
    • Managing the coordination of designers and installers (which may be different sub-contractors)
    • Reviewing site test documentation and RAMS
    • Managing site supervisors for electrical works and all aspects of installation handover, as well as all associated members of the team including Commissioning Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers and CAD Engineers

Requirements:

  • Qualified to at least HND Level or above in a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
  • At least 4 years previous experience in a similar role, SSTS and CSCS qualified
  • Familiar with electrical infrastructure and electrical principles with effective supplier and client management skills
  • Good level of IT proficiency (Excel and Word mandatory)
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail and the flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours as required
