As an Electrical Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical infrastructure of our clients' projects, ensuring that all electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and attending site surveys at both tender and project delivery stages to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly assessed and documented.
  • Assisting in evaluating M&E supplier proposals and generating proposals for M&E requirements to ensure that the best possible solutions are implemented.
  • Producing technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and carrying out evaluations to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly specified and installed.
  • Attending design meetings with design sub-contractors to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly designed and installed.
  • Providing support to the Site Supervisor in site progress meetings to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly installed and maintained.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and completion of the M&E sub-contract works to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly installed and maintained.
  • Managing the production of designs by suppliers, such as equipment locations, installation designs, equipment designs, etc.
  • Managing M&E FAT's and reviewing all relevant documentation to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly installed and maintained.
  • Managing the coordination of designers and installers, which may be different sub-contractors, to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly installed and maintained.
  • Reviewing site test documentation and RAMS to ensure that all electrical infrastructure is properly installed and maintained.
  • Managing site supervisors for M&E works and all aspects of installation handover, as well as all associated members of the team, including Commissioning Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers, and CAD Engineers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to at least HND Level or above in a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • At least 4 years previous experience in a similar role, SSTS and CSCS qualified.
  • Familiar with electrical infrastructure and electrical principles.
  • Effective supplier and client management skills.
  • Good level of IT proficiency, including Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and flexibility to juggle a range of different tasks.
