**Job Description: Key Responsibilities**

We are seeking a skilled Defence Sector Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Matchtech. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in quality assurance and a passion for working in the defence sector.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Verify compliance to company processes and documented procedures to ensure a robust Quality Management System is in place throughout the business.
  • Develop good customer relationships by supporting the Quality Manager and Account Manager's, with customer communications and visits.
  • Attend and chair project meetings including start-ups, pre-manufacturing, manufacturing, purchasing and wash ups.
  • Conduct FMEA/risk assessments, internal auditing and NCR corrective actions as required.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience within a Quality Management system
  • Experience in Aerospace Standard AS9100 and NADCAP
  • Trained auditor
  • Experience of conducting root cause analysis using tools like 8D
  • Experience of PCB Manufacturing environment
  • Experience of liaising with Internal and External Customers
  • Self-driven and able to monitor own performance effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role.
