Aircraft Landing Gear Quality Assurance Role

Estimated salary: $39,000 per year.

Join a leader in the aviation industry as a Quality Assurance Specialist in our Aircraft Landing Gear team. With over 90 years of experience, we design, test, manufacture, and assemble landing gear used on commercial aircraft and military aircraft.

About the Job:

  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to work within our medium landing gear quality team, supporting manufacture and inspection to improve product processes.
  • As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will provide hands-on expertise in resolving quality issues, coach and develop team members in technical and quality matters, and offer expert advice to internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • You will be responsible for providing input regarding manufacturing quality and technical issues to Manufacturing Engineering strategy and raising and authorizing extra work on layouts, SAP, and MES.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles including methods, processes, production control, plant, and tooling based on a lean enterprise approach.
  • Ability to gain knowledge of Aerospace Quality systems to a level that enables holding a QT stamp.
