The Trustees of Reservations is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at Powisset Farm Store in Dover, MA.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to assist with daily operations, provide exceptional customer service, and promote our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, greet every customer, and educate them about Powisset Farm and The Trustees.
- Assist with inventory controls, including managing expiration dates, restocking shelves, and merchandising.
- Manage the POS system, including online and in-person sales, and assist with images, videos, and content for social media.
- Elevate customer questions, refunds/substitutions, or complaints to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years of age with a minimum of one year's work experience.
- Availability to work 20 hours per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, during store operating hours.
- Access to a working car with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience with computers, smartphones/apps, and POS system knowledge.
- Prior customer service and/or food service experience.
- Knowledge of agriculture, meat, and dairy products.
The Trustees of Reservations is a non-profit conservation organization that preserves and protects properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts.
