Job Title: Automatic Door Engineer

RAW Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company specialising in automatic door systems. We are looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer based in Manchester to carry out installations, servicing, and repair work on a variety of automatic doors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair a range of automatic doors, including sliding, swing, revolving, and telescopic doors.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs on-site to minimize downtime for clients.
  • Conduct regular PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to ensure automatic door systems are fully operational and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete service reports for all work carried out.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
Requirements:
  • ADSA Accredited with up-to-date certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in installing, servicing, and repairing automatic doors.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with experience working on a variety of automatic door systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and participation in call-out rota.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate up to £18.50 per hour, based on experience.
  • Door-to-door pay for all travel time.
  • Overtime opportunities at 1.5x pay rate and 2x pay rate on Sundays.
  • Call-out rota with a £100 standby fee.
