Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience of delivering projects using Agile methodologies, with a strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience of working on technology, product, software development, or digital transformation projects, with a focus on planning and risk management.
- Ability to lead and coach cross-functional teams, including remote teams, and work effectively with Senior Stakeholders.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced and changing environment, requiring resilience and adaptability.
- Strong planning, risk management, and change management skills, with the ability to develop and review estimates and assumptions for project resources and costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the project team at meetings and obtain buy-in from senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive exciting research, engineering, and software development projects from discovery to delivery, using Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver objectives, outputs, and build digital products, ensuring shared clarity of scope, good estimating, planning, and management of risk.
- Contribute towards elements of the business case, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
- Develop and review estimates and assumptions for project resources and costs, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
- Work alongside other leads to develop, implement, and maintain the Management Plan, including the configuration management, risk management, project measurement, change, and quality management plans.
- Collaborate with Product Manager and Technical Team Leaders across development, testing, and release to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
