Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support to secondary students with Special Educational Needs.

Job Type:

This is a temporary, part-time position, requiring flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Provide tailored teaching strategies to cater to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements:

We require a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching.

Desirable Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEN requirements and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in educational settings, such as schools or learning centers, in the Guildford area of Surrey. The tutor may need to travel to different locations to meet with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
