We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team at Barclays Bank UK PLC. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Solution Architecture: Develop and maintain solution architecture inputs required to comply with the bank's governance processes, including design artefacts required for architecture, privacy, security, and records management governance processes.
  • Cloud Expertise: Leverage cloud capabilities such as elasticity, serverless, containerization, and more to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Security and Risk: Design solutions that balance risks and controls to deliver the agreed business and technology value, incorporating security principles such as defence in depth and reduction of blast radius.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of technologies and architecture paradigms, experience working in Agile environments, and job-specific technical skills.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in financial services, specifically in banking, cards, and loans, is highly valued.
  • Cloud Certifications: TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are highly desirable.
