Maintenance Supervisor - Residential - London (Ealing) - £37k

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated maintenance supervisor to lead the engineering operations for a large luxury residential development. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering field, preferably from a residential block environment.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of building systems and operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety. Key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and expenses.
  4. Carry out and record the results/outcome of weekly, monthly and other cyclical checks, testing and maintenance routines.
  5. Emergency Lighting testing, Smoke Ventilation system testing, and Lift Line testing.
  6. Ensure maintenance tasks are meticulously completed and recorded in the relevant systems.
  7. Undertake ad-hoc maintenance tasks including light bulb replacement, painting, decorating, plaster repairs, and minor internal and external maintenance repairs.
Requirements:
  1. Trade experience and relevant market experience of construction/repairs/maintenance with mechanical qualifications and training.
  2. Experience and understanding of Mechanical plant.
  3. Extensive electrical knowledge if not qualified.
  4. Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.
  5. An understanding of maintaining a clean water system within a large residential complex.
