About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Glebe Farm Foods. As a key member of our Technical Team, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical and chemical tests on raw materials and finished products
  • Prepare and send out microbiology samples
  • Perform environmental and plant hygiene swabs
  • Participate in taste panels and manage reference samples
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues and others
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet laboratory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage laboratory databases and conduct internal audits
  • Determine and act on non-complying results
  • Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth laboratory operations
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience in a laboratory environment
  • Computer literacy and ability to use laboratory databases
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
