Security Officer

As a Security Officer at HAR Labcorp Early Development Laboratories Limited, you will be responsible for providing professional security services and effectively leading during crisis situations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patrolling the campus and buildings, monitoring for conditions or situations that pose a risk to the safety/security of people and/or property or are in violation of company policy.
- Reporting and taking immediate action upon observation or awareness of situations posing a risk to the company business, property, or personnel.
- Ensuring the integrity and proper operating condition of all installed security systems and reporting abnormal conditions to the supervisor.
- Documenting and reporting all daily activities and incidents in the Security Reporting Database.
- Monitoring PC-based monitoring systems and electronic equipment at the Security Station.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Checking personnel, contractors, service technicians, and vendors for proper authorization to facilities and for contraband.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Security role.
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Valid UK Driver's License.
Working hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on/4 off, with 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts.
