The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies. This role will lead the payroll team, develop and implement best practices, and provide high-quality reports and data to internal departments.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the monthly and weekly end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the payroll team, focusing on recruitment, development, and engagement to achieve high performance.
- Monitor and implement payroll-related changes, effectively communicating with stakeholders and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Regularly review payroll systems, policies, and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide accurate and quality reports, data, and analysis to support internal departments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
- A recognized payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in managing and leading effective payroll processes at all levels.
- Strong pension knowledge and experience.
- Ability to develop and adhere to best practice payroll processes and controls.
- Experience managing a payroll function.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
